Collection: Dahlia Tubers
Hi! I am excited to share my collection with you all. You will find a great variety from the tried and true, the classics, and some rare gems tucked in here. I enjoy growing many varieties in my small space which means most of these cultivars are available in limited quantities. Thank you and Enjoy!
Sale is for one single dahlia tuber with a viable eye.
All photos are unedited and the true colors were best tried to capture. Colors are not edited in any way. Photos taken on different blooms, different stages and different times of the day throughout the season. My hope is a true depiction of colors.
ALL PHOTOS ARE PROPERTY OF HAYDEN HOUSE GARDENS. No photos to be used without written consent.

Discover the Season's Freshest Dahlia Tubers from Local Farms.
Hi Guys, glad you’re here!
Just a small urban farmer here, actually growing on about 2500 sq feet. Dahlias are my jam and I am so excited to be able to share all these beauties with you! I’m an RN turned flower farmer after growing for so many years. I have dedicated my time to learning and growing. I have found so much hidden passion in caring for the earth and soil. Raising plants from seed back to seed. There is an incredible world out there, we just have to look closely.
Dahlias will be offered in small conservative amounts in Fall, the rest of the goods in Spring, and will also be offering cuttings once it warms back up next spring.
The listed offerings are for one dahlia tuber with a body, an intact neck, and an eye. All dahlias listed were grown at least 1 season by me on my farm. These are NOT imported clumps. These are hand dug and hand divided tubers.
Dahlia tubers and cuttings will ship in Spring. I will check your location for weather to ensure safe travels. Tubers will begin shipping as soon as it is safe to do so. I am in Southeastern Michigan, zone 6b. Shipping should start some time in April. You will receive tracking just before your order ships.
Packages will ship 2 day priority. Please ensure you retrieve your package promptly. Open and inspect your tubers/cuttings upon arrival. I strive to ensure every tuber or cutting that leaves my farm is healthy and viable. Please contact me with 3 days of arrival if there is an order error. Every tuber is inspected multiple times for a viable eye. Every tuber leaves with at least one viable eye. Please include clear and close pictures with any concern.
I want you to rest assured that I am diligent about any signs of illness. Plants are scouted on a regular basis and culled if suspicious of a disease and pest control initiated with additional benificials if necessary. Snips are disinfected and swiped out between plants. I utilize a whole army of benificial insects and birds to help with any pests that are about. I am continually working to increase brix levels to make my field less desirable to the bad guys. Working with Mother Nature, not against her, doing my best to care for the soil and all living things. Dahlias are known to be highly susceptible to disease. Myself, and many other local farmers are making every effort to provide healthy stock.
These are perishable products. They are stored all winter and storage failures do happen. In the event when I go to pack your order, if a tuber is not up to quality, you will be offered a replacement the following season, a credit or possibly a refund. These things do happen no matter how careful we are. With so many varieties, and each having their own level of care, sometimes they just do not make it through our long winter months.
